Sprague's Vacuum Plus
Sprague’s Vacuum Plus of Warren, OH is one of Nellie’s All Natural’s many new customers. They originally met us at the Chicago International Houseware Show when their friends Ron and Kelly Vohs brought them to the Nellie’s booth. They placed a smaller initial opening order and started selling the mops in April. Two weeks ago they sold 11 in 5 days.
Ran by husband wife duo Stephen and Cindy Sprague, the store decided to address the needs of bare floor cleaning due to the ever-growing popularity of hard floors in their area. According to Stephen, “In my experience, most people are not satisfied with their floor care process. I think that the Nellie’s mop is a great solution for most. We liked it so much, we decided to make a commitment to promoting and selling Nellie’s WOW Mops, and treating it almost as an “additional business” within our store.”
By the way Nellie’s products are beautifully displayed in their showroom it is clear the Spragues believe in the product line and love the WOW Mop. Cindy even brought one home for herself.
Sprague’s Vacuum Plus doesn’t only have a beautiful display in the store, they have if predominantly displayed on their website, they hand out flyers to their customers and advertise the brand in their local paper and on Facebook. A great in store only sale they advertise is their $199.00 Wow Mop Starter kit.
Stephen has an aggressive but sensible attitude when it comes to brand promotion. “My thinking was this: Dyson marketed their products to the entire country and made their products a household name. Obviously, I don’t have the resources to market these mops to the whole nation, but I can saturate my own market right here, in Warren, Ohio… We are finding that as we get the message out, there seems to be an increase in interest and excitement about the Nellie’s products, and sales are already growing. It’s been a fantastic addition to our business.”
