Phil's Electric Vacuum Center
Phil's Electric has been servicing the greater San Francisco area for over 70 years. Tom Evans (left) his brother Ken (right) and their mother Vivian all run the store together. One of their favorite consumable lines is Fred's Fine Cleaning Center and in July they signed up for the new display rack.

Phil's Electric started selling Fred's Fine Cleaning Center's Soclean: wood floor and laminate cleaner in the Spring of 2018.
"We started carrying Fred's because we were looking for an alternative to Bona because their wasn't money in it anymore. Andrew brought this line around, my wife and I tried out a sample kit at home, loved the products and started bringing in the line. Now we carry almost everything Fred's has." - Tom

Phil's Electric places orders about once a month now and enjoys the ease of doing business with Fred's because of the two case of solution minimum - free freight. This makes it so they never have to worry about making the choice of either being out of a product or paying costly freight.
One of the great techniques they use to sell this line of high-end consumables is that, not only are Fred's Fine Cleaning products nicely displayed on the rack but that they have the products displayed behind the counter as well making it super easy to talk about with the consumer and also eye catching while at the register.

Overall when asked why Phil's Electric likes to sell Fred's Fine Cleaning products, Tom said, "Fred's is good our business because it diversifies our product portfolio with attractive merchandise for our store front and it's bringing back return customers every few weeks. Our customers love the line but especially the wood floor cleaner because they are tired of the film left behind by Bona. In San Francisco we have house cleaners that are cleaning a house twice a week and with the Bona product it is really easy for them to over do it and make the homeowners' floors feel sticky. With Fred's you don't have that. Fred's just cleans."
